Brush Drop Off

The Town of Royalton Highway Department continues with its brush pick throughout the year with NO SET PICKUP SCHEDULE. We schedule brush pickup around ALL other highway duties, and brush will be picked up as soon as schedule permits. Brush should be put at the roadside with the CUT ENDS FACING THE ROAD in an untangled manner. Brush pushed into piles with equipment will not be picked up until property owner untangles pile. For safety reasons to our employees and machinery we require tree limbs and shrubbery to be free of roots and dirt and of a size that can be picked up by one person. Your cooperation is appreciated. Please call our office to alert us if you need brush pickup (772-2363).  Leave a message if there is no answer. This helps us dispatch our employees directly instead of wandering and looking for brush.

Culvert Pipes

I would like to ask residents of the Town who have reason to enter or exit fields in any kind of motorized vehicle that they need to use a driveway entrance. If there is not currently a driveway entrance where you enter or exit, you can have one installed by the Highway Department. Anyone who currently needs a culvert installed can do so by contacting the Highway Department at 772-2363. The culvert pipe can be purchased at the highway department, but the highway department can only install the pipe on a Town road. The pipe must be paid for before it can be installed. Please note Document section for permit, and driveway law.
