REGULAR BOARD MEETING
June 11, 2012
The Regular Board Meeting of the Town of Royalton was held on Monday, June 11, 2012, at the Royalton Town Hall, 5316 Royalton Center Road, Middleport, New York. The meeting was called to order by Supervisor Jennifer Bieber at 7:02 PM with the Pledge to the Flag.

There were no additions or corrections to the minutes as presented.
PUBLIC COMMENT - Agenda Items Only
There was no public comment pertaining to the agenda items at this time.
COMMUNICATIONS / PETITIONS
Town Clerk Little read two communications from the Gasport Beautification Committee. The first was a "thank you" to the Water Department Employees for their help each year in placing the barrels for the "Adopt A Barrel" contest. The second communication was announcing their Annual Free Movie Night at Veterans Park in Gasport. This year the movie night will take place on Friday, August 10, 2012 and will feature "The Muppets" movie. There will be candy, popcorn, ice cream, pop, pizza, bottled water, and coffee for sale with a family deal of twelve (12) food items for only $10.00. This event will help to raise money for the committee so they can continue to improve the beauty of our community and have great events such as the movie night. They are also asking for support in the following manner:
•1. Make a donation with checks payable to: Gasport Beautification Committee, P.O. Box 35, Gasport, NY 14067.
•2. Volunteer on the day of the event - please call 716-772-2902 and ask for Debbie.
The Gasport Beautification Committee appreciates any support you can give. They would like everyone to come and enjoy a great community event.
Supervisor Bieber announced that Legislator Michael Hill will be attending our September Board Meeting.

TOWN OF SHELBY WATER HOOK-UP
On a motion made by Councilman Rehwaldt, seconded by Councilman Budde, the following was

Resolved to authorize Mr. & Mrs. Jeff Gay, 10152 State Road, Middleport, to hook up to the Town of Shelby for water service to their residence.

WATER DEPARTMENT SUPPLY PURCHASE
On a motion made by Councilman Budde, seconded by Councilman Bragg, the following was

Resolved to authorize Dan Morse, Water/Sewer Superintendent, to purchase curb stops, curb boxes and related supplies from Lock City Supply, Inc. at a cost not to exceed $4,147.60.
The two quotes received are as follows:

PROCUREMENT POLICY AMENDMENT
On a motion made by Councilman Bragg, seconded by Councilman Budde, the following was

Resolved to remove the wording in the current Town of Royalton Procurement Policy stating "must be approved by the Town Board prior to placing the order" when department heads are purchasing goods or services in the amounts of $2,001.00 - $20,000.00.
Revision: $2,001.00 - $20,000.00 - purchase must include two (2) verbal quotations or written quotations with documentation attached to voucher or Purchase Order.

PURCHASE OF BACK-UP SERVER FOR TOWN HALL & HIGHWAY DEPARTMENT
On a motion made by Councilman Bragg, seconded by Councilman Rehwaldt, the following was

Resolved to authorize Accurate Computer Service, Inc. to build and install a dedicated back-up server for the Town Hall and the Highway Department computers at a cost not to exceed $1,821.43. The back-up server will be located in the Highway Department. The two quotes received are as follows:

Resolved to authorize the following Seasonal Employees to oversee the Town of Royalton Recreation Program for the 2012 season. This year the program will run from July 9, 2012 - August 10, 2012.

PUBLIC COMMENT - GOOD & WELFARE OF THE COMMUNITY
There was no public comment to come before the town board at this time.
There being no further information to come before this board, a motion was made by Councilman Budde, seconded by Councilman Rehwaldt and carried unanimously that the Regular Board Meeting be adjourned at 7:07 PM.
