The Regular Board Meeting of the Town Board of the Town of Royalton was held on Wednesday, May 18, 2011, at the Royalton Town Hall, 5316 Royalton Center Road, Middleport, New York. The meeting was called to order by Supervisor Richard J. Lang at 7:00 PM with the Pledge to the Flag.
The Following were present:

Deputy Town Clerk Pat Hinds
Town Board Member Jennifer Bieber, Daniel Bragg, James Budde
Accounting Clerk Lorretta Criswell
Also present were: Jesse Bieber, Scott Wymczak
Absent was Councilman Bradley Rehwaldt
The town board met to have a round table discussion to throw out ideas on where they see the town in the future.
RESOLUTION 54-11
TOUR de CURE ANNUAL BIKE RIDE
On a motion made by Councilman Bragg, seconded by Councilwoman Bieber, the following was
ADOPTED AYES 4 Lang, Bragg, Bieber, Budde
NAYS 0 MOTION CARRIED
Resolved to authorize the American Diabetes Association to utilize the Town Hall parking lot on Saturday, June 4, 2011 for their annual Tour de Cure bike ride. Tour de Cure is utilizing the Town Hall facilities (rest rooms) as well as the parking lot from 9am - 1pm.
RESOLUTION 55-11
UPGRADES SECURITY SYSTEM
On a motion made by Councilwoman Bieber, seconded by Councilman Bragg, the following was
ADOPTED AYES 4 Lang, Bragg, Bieber, Budde
NAYS 0 MOTION CARRIED
Resolution for allowing Doyle Security to add equipment to our existing system in the amount of $2,378.00 plus $35.00 monthly fees, maintenance fee $120.00 yearly with funds coming out of Building and Grounds.
RESOLUTION 56-11
PAYING OF BILLS FOR THE SEALS
On a motion made by Councilwoman Bieber, seconded by Councilman Bragg, the following was
ADOPTED AYES 4 Lang, Bragg, Bieber, Budde
NAYS 0 MOTION CARRIED
Resolution to pay the bills from Mike Darlak Signs for the seals before the end of the month. The Unified Court seal will be paid out of Court funds minus the $150 in grant money and the town seal will be paid out of buildings and grounds. These two seals will be put on the back wall of the Courtroom.
Discussion ensued regarding priorities for the Town of Royalton. Discussion on roof repairs, insurance prices, Infrastructure, Fire services, roadways, budget process, retirement plan, police protection, Sewer plant, finances, ditching, Town Hall updates, Union contracts, cemeteries, wind turbines and cable.
There being no further information or discussion to come before this board, a motion was made by Councilman Bragg, seconded by Councilwoman Bieber and carried unanimously that the Special Board Meeting be adjourned at 8:40 PM.
