Planning Board Minutes

April 26, 2017

 

The Town of Royalton Planning Board Meeting was held on Wednesday, April 26, 2017, at the Royalton Town Hall, 5316 Royalton Center Road, Middleport, New York. The meeting was called to order at 7:08 PM by Chairman Kevin Covel.

 

The following were present:

Chairman - Kevin Covel

Absent – Jesse Bieber & Heather Lewis

Board Members – Carol Wittcop, Tom Arlington and Patricia Hinds

Other Officials – None

Other Attendees – None

 

MOTION: A motion made by Carol Wittcop to accept the minutes from the March 22, 2017 Planning Board Meeting.

Motion: Carol Wittcop Seconded: Tom Arlington ALL IN FAVOR

 

CORRESPONDENCE RECEIVED & DISTRIBUTED:

Niagara County Center for Economic Development mailed out a schedule for Land Use Training for Municipal Officials presented by Orleans County Department of Planning and Development and Niagara County Department of Economic Development on Wednesday, 6/28/17 to be held at the Albion Public (Hoag) Library 5:00 pm to 9:30 pm. Niagara County will also host a training seminar in the fall of 2017 at NCCC.

 

OPEN FOR DISCUSSION:

Site plan for Chops Shop Pizzeria located at 8405 Rochester Road, Gasport, NY. Applicant’s name is Matt Burch. The proposed addition to Chops Shop Pizzeria will be the existing space next to his business. This new space can serve food and drinks and serve approximately sixty guests. This space will be called Chops Shop Bar & Grill. Town of Royalton Building Inspector has issued a Building Permit on 4/20/17.

 

OLD BUSINESS:

Carol Wittcop handed out the Escarpment District from the Town of Cambria for us to have a starting point. Our members will read this over and give their comments and questions. We will be looking at this in two steps: 1.) Escarpment District, 2.) Historical
