Planning Board Minutes

June 28, 2017

 

The Town of Royalton Planning Board Meeting was held on Wednesday, June 28, 2017, at the Royalton Town Hall, 5316 Royalton Center Road, Middleport, New York. The meeting was called to order at 7:00 PM by Acting Chairman - Jesse Bieber.

The following were present:

 

Acting Chairman - Jesse Bieber

Absent – Kevin Covel

Board Members – Carol Wittcop, Tom Arlington, Heather Lewis and Patricia Hinds

Other Officials – None

Other Attendees – None

 

MOTION: A motion made by Tom Arlington to accept the minutes from the May 24, 2017 Planning Board Meeting.

 

Motion: Tom Arlington Seconded: Heather Lewis ALL IN FAVOR

 

CORRESPONDENCE RECEIVED & DISTRIBUTED: - None

 

OPEN FOR DISCUSSION:

 

T-Cups do not come before the Zoning Board Committee? Discussion ensued.

 

OLD BUSINESS:

 

Sign was discussed for Chops Shop Pizzeria located at 8405 Rochester Road, Gasport, NY. No application at this time regarding the sign.

 

Escarpment Overlay – Heather Lewis will pull and send parcel counts for the Escarpment area. This will be based on the 2016 Parcel Data from Niagara County’s Office of Real Property. This will be very helpful if we decide to do a survey to the residents that live on our Royalton Escarpment.

 

Heather Lewis brought to the meeting the Town of Royalton, Niagara County Escarpment (Map1 – 2014 Aerial Imagery & Town of Royalton, Niagara County Escarpment (Map 2 – Escarpment Parcels).

 

Supervisor, Jennifer Bieber will get pricing to update the Comprehensive Plan.
