Planning Board Minutes

 

The Town of Royalton Planning Board Meeting was held on Wednesday, July 26, 2017, at the Royalton Town Hall, 5316 Royalton Center Road, Middleport, New York. The meeting was called to order at 7:00 PM by Chairman – Kevin Covel.

The following were present:

Board Members – Jesse Bieber, Carol Wittcop, Tom Arlington, Heather Lewis and Patricia Hinds

Other Officials – None

Other Attendees – Jason Castricone

 

MOTION: A motion made by Jesse Bieber to accept the minutes from the June 28, 2017 Planning Board Meeting.

Motion: Jesse Bieber Seconded: Carol Wittcop ALL IN FAVOR

 

CORRESPONDENCE RECEIVED & DISTRIBUTED: - Rural Futures Summer Issue

 

OPEN FOR DISCUSSION:

Site Plan for East High Street & Hollenbeck Road, Lots 1,2 & 3 #111.00-1-65 Gasport, NY 14067. Applicant’s name is Jason Castricone (Castricone Real Estate & Development). Property to be subdivided into 3 building lots. He intends to build 3 green energy homes on these lots. Two lots will be on Hollenbeck and one on East High Street. One of these homes will be his residence.

 

Motion: To approve the concept of building 3 green energy homes at East High Street & Hollenbeck Road.

Motion: Carol Wittcop Seconded: Tom Arlington ALL IN FAVOR

 

OLD BUSINESS:

We are still working on the Escarpment Overlay project.

No price yet from Supervisor, Jennifer Bieber on the price to update the Comprehensive Plan.

 

NEW BUSINESS:

Discussion on Original T-Cups to be brought before the Town Board? Renewals should go before the Board as well? A motion was made that we recommend the Town Board to request that T-Cups go before the Zoning Board of Appeals per Town Code.
