Planning Board Minutes
The Town of Royalton Planning Board Meeting was held on Monday, October 28, 2019, at the Royalton Town Hall, 5316 Royalton Center Road, Middleport, NY. The meeting was called to order at 7:15 pm by Chairman – Kevin Covel.

MOTION: A motion made by Tom Arlington to accept the minutes from the September 25, 2019
Planning Board Meeting.

CORRESPONDENCE RECEIVED & DISTRIBUTED: -
National Business Institute Seminar, November 4, 2019, Rochester, NY on Land Use Law: Current Issues in Subdivision and Zoning.
Tom Arlington passed out an article regarding Town planners working with soil & water agency on solar farm pollination guidelines.
OPEN FOR DISCUSSION:
Heather Lewis met with the Town of Royalton Budget Committee regarding a Site Plan Review fee, and other items the Planning Board was looking for funding in 2020.
OLD BUSINESS:
We did hear back from Thomas Brandt, Town Attorney regarding the Town of Royalton Niagara Escarpment Overlay District. We will need to pass a resolution forwarding the proposed change to the Town Board and recommending the Town Code be amended in accordance with the changes.
Heather Lewis passed out the Components of Site Plan Review Application. Heather will look this over and do any revisions.
Oriden LLC, a Pittsburgh based solar and energy storage project developer will have a Solar Open House to be held 10/29/19, 6-8 pm, at Terry’s Corners Fire Hall, 7801 Chestnut Ridge Road, Gasport, NY 14067.
