Planning Board Minutes

 

The Town of Royalton Planning Board Meeting was held on Wednesday, July 24, 2019, at the Royalton Town Hall, 5316 Royalton Center Road, Middleport, New York. The meeting was called to order at 7:13 PM by Chairman – Kevin Covel.

 

The following were present:

Board Members – Jesse Bieber, Tom Arlington, Heather Lewis, and Patricia Hinds

Absent – Stacey Johnston

MOTION: A motion made by Jesse Bieber to accept the minutes from the June 26, 2019 Planning Board Meeting.

Motion: Jesse Bieber Seconded: Heather Lewis ALL IN FAVOR

 

CORRESPONDENCE RECEIVED & DISTRIBUTED: -

2019 Planning and Zoning Schools registration form – Town of Batavia (Genesee County) Monday, 9/30/19 at the Quality Inn & Suites Palm Island, 8250 Park Road, Batavia, NY 14020. Training for members is $80.00 (pre-reg) from 8:30 classes begin at 9:10 and end at 1:40.

 

Urban Land Institute Training – Urban Plan for public officials, UB South Campus, School of Arch, Wednesday, 8/7/19 from 8:30 – 3:30, fee is $15.00.

 

OPEN FOR DISCUSSION: -

We continue to work on updating the Town of Royalton Comprehensive Plan in our future meetings.

 

OLD BUSINESS: -

Tom Arlington is still working on getting fee structures from other Towns for recommendations on fees.

 

NEW BUSINESS: 

Harvey Johnson (H.R. Johnson Electric) is here this evening along with Jane & Steve Phillips to go over the light changes on the Site Plan approval application for 8411 Rochester Road, Gasport, NY 14067.

The original lights would shine on the neighbors and the road. They are proposing 4 pole lights shinning on the parking lot. These will also be LED lights.

 

MOTION: A motion to approve the light changes at 8411 Rochester Road, Gasport, NY 14067.

Motion: Tom Arlington Seconded: Jesse Bieber ALL IN FAVOR

 

Mike Hartman will be invited to our next Planning Board Meeting.
