Planning Board Minutes

 

The Town of Royalton Planning Board Meeting was held on Wednesday, May 22, 2019, at the Royalton Town Hall, 5316 Royalton Center Road, Middleport, New York. The meeting was called to order at 7:15 PM by Chairman – Kevin Covel.

 

The following were present:

Chairman – Kevin Covel

Board Members – Tom Arlington, Jesse Bieber, Stacey Johnston and Patricia Hinds

Absent – Heather Lewis

Other Officials – None

Other Attendees – Mark Zografos, Timothy Arlington, Jerry & Mary Stadelman & David Wagner

 

MOTION: A motion made by Tom Arlington to accept the minutes from the April 17, 2019 Planning Board Meeting.

 

Motion: Tom Arlington Seconded: Jesse Bieber ALL IN FAVOR

 

CORRESPONDENCE RECEIVED & DISTRIBUTED: -

2019 Local Government Training information was received from Marie L. Little, Town Clerk.

 

The training is being held at Orchard Park Public Library, 4570 S. Buffalo Street, Orchard Park, NY on May 30, 2019 from 5 to 9. Two Sessions: Hot Button Land Issues and Revising Zoning.

 

OPEN FOR DISCUSSION: -

We continue to work on updating the Town of Royalton Comprehensive Plan in our future meetings.

 

OLD BUSINESS: -

Tom Arlington is still working on getting fee structures from other Towns for recommendations on fees.

 

NEW BUSINESS: -

Site Plan approval application for 7920 Rochester Road, Gasport, NY 14067. Jerome & Mary Stadelman are here this evening to discuss building a machine shop at the address listed above. Birch Machine & Tool are currently located in Middleport, NY. Jerome & Mary Stadelman, David Wagner have provided a

Very detailed description of Services Provided, Signage, Tentative Hours of Operation and their goals for the business.

 

MOTION: A motion to approve the Site Plan application for Birch Machine & Tool.

 

Motion: Jesse Bieber Seconded: Stacey Johnston ALL IN FAVOR

 

We also had two individuals stop by our meeting to discuss the following: The VanBuren lagoon and a cluttered yard on Moyer Road. Our committee advised where these residents should be addressing their complaints.
